A new tool for drug delivery
As the result of collaboration with Dr. V. John, Alzheimer Disease researcher, we developed a new drug delivery system, called “synthetic exosomes”, which can carry a wide range of small molecule drugs, antibodies, nucleic acids etc and pass through epithelial and endothelial layers. We are currently testing its validity for trans-dermal, trans-oral mucosa and trans-BBB drug delivery. We ease your pain
We discovered the previously unknown 3’UTR sequence of voltage gated sodium channel 1.8 (NaV1.8), which was found to play a key role in chronic neuropathic pain. The newly discovered 3’UTR of NaV1.8 is considered as a novel therapeutic target with minimal side effect of pain control.
